These cars can vary from a sports car built from plans on a very low budget to a replica of a production sports car with a 7 litre American V8 costing several tens of thousands of pounds.
Our interest in the insurance for kit cars began in the late 1970s when one of our current team of brokers built a Spartan kit based on a Triumph Vitesse. Two further kits have been owned being a Jago Jeep and a Pilgrim Sumo – our staff do know these cars!
Over the past 30 years manufacturers have come and gone but the cars remain and sensible insurances rates will always be available.
